Esther 4: 12-14

When Esther’s words were reported to Mordecai, he sent back this answer, “Do not think that because you are in the king’s house you alone of all the Jews will escape. For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this?”

Watch the children's sermon here!

In the Time with Children, Louis was able to find a way that he could help that was perfect for his talents and abilities. He was able to do what he could with what he had right where he was.

Queen Esther did the same, she used her wit and intellect to save her people because she was in the right place at the right time, right where God had put her.

I wonder

  • what your special talents and abilities are
  • how you can use them to help your friends and family
  • how God will use you today to help someone
  • what can you do today to make someone feel better
  • if you know the rest of Esther’s story

Prayer
God, thank you for the ways that you put us in the right places. Help us to see ways that we can help others. Help us to see the special gifts each of us has and open those doors for us so that we can. In Jesus name. Amen
